Q: The Programme is not installed properly. The fonts
on the initial page of the Himalayan mountains and on the main page look junk or just blank.
Ans:
Not all users of XP have this problem. The problem should be automatically solved when you reboot your computer.
If that does not solve, you are advised to do as follows:
1. Delete all the directories where you have installed the software.
2. Install only the latest version (5.5) of Ganakashtadhyayi.
3. Delete all the "Taralabalu......ttf" fonts in the windows directory (c:\windows\fonts) in your system.
4. Click the following link to download the special fonts from our website: http://www.taralabalu.org/fonts/fonts.zip
5. Unzip the downloaded file "fonts.zip".
6. You will find all the necessary “Taralabalu......ttf” fonts.
7. Install these these unzipped “Taralabalu......ttf” fonts.
8. Reboot your system and run Ganakashtadhyayi 5.5

Q: The Programme runs normally with the initial page
of Himalayan mountain and the menus, but all the windows appear empty thereafter.
Ans:
1. Delete all the directories where you have installed the software.
2. Install only the latest version (5.0) of Ganakashtadhyayi.
3. Go to the fonts directory: c\windows\fonts
4. Delete the fonts namely "Taralabalu Sanskrit 12", "Taralabalu Sanskrit 12 Bold", "Taralabalu
Roman11", "Taralabalu Roman 11 Bold", "Taralabalu Roman 12", "Taralabalu Roman 12
Bold", "Taralabalu Kannada 10", "Taralabalu Kannada 10 Bold"
5. Reboot your system
6. Go to the directory C:\Program Files\Ganakastadhyayi 5.0
7. You will find 8 sets of .ttf fonts mentioned above
8. Install all these .ttf fonts manually.
9. Reboot your computer and run Ganakashtadhyayi 5.0.
VERSION 4.5
Q: The Programme runs normally with the initial page of Himalayan mountain and

2. Install only the latest version (4.5) of Ganakashtadhyayi.
3. Delete the fonts namely "Taralabalu Sanskrit 10" and "Times Shiva Roman10" found in the
fonts directory (c:\windows\fonts)
4. Reboot your system
5. Go to the directory C:\Program Files\Ganakastadhyayi 4.5
6. You will find two sets of .ttf fonts namely, "tblsns10.ttf" and "tmssrmn10.ttf"
7. Install both these .ttf fonts manually.
8. Reboot your computer and run Ganakashtadhyayi
